Assembly Technician,
Electronics Manufacturing

Battery module production — Helsinki, Finland

Full-time, permanent Helsinki, Kylvöpolku On-site Start: Sep–Nov 2026

Superstream is building a new lithium battery module production line in Helsinki — from scratch, in-house. We are hiring 2–3 assembly technicians to join the core team and help create something tangible: a production line, solid processes, and a culture worth being proud of. This is not a role where everything is pre-defined — it is a place for someone who thrives in a developing environment and wants to see their own contribution in the end result.

The role

What you will do

  • Assemble lithium battery modules using precise methods and quality standards — carefully and repeatably
  • Monitor production flow, identify deviations and take corrective actions
  • Participate in quality control, inspections and production documentation
  • Develop work instructions (SOPs) and operating practices together with the team — the processes are not finished yet, and that is intentional
  • Take ownership of your workstation or process step and make sure things get done
  • Help prepare production toward ISO certification alongside the Production & Quality Manager
Requirements

What we are looking for

  • Experience in electronics or mechanical assembly in a production environment — you have done precise, hands-on work in series production
  • Experience with quality standards: you have worked where quality is measured and documented, or been part of a process that prepared for or achieved certification
  • Long-term, persistent approach: you do not get frustrated when processes are still being developed — on the contrary, you have the patience to build structures that last
  • Hands-on and sees things through: you enjoy working on the floor, not planning from an office, and things get finished
  • Wants to be part of a core team: small teams mean everyone matters — for better and for worse. You value openness and growing together
  • Good documentation habits: you record your work clearly and systematically — in production, information must be written down so others can act on it and deviations stay traceable
  • Good English: all documentation is written in English and you communicate confidently in writing
  • Finnish Occupational Safety Card (työturvallisuuskortti) — required before starting, or willingness to obtain one
Nice to have — not required
  • Experience or active interest in battery technology — lithium batteries, BMS, electrical systems, or a hobby interest in electric vehicles or energy storage
  • You have been involved in or witnessed an ISO certification process or customer audit preparation
  • Interest in developing processes and continuous learning as part of the job
